This Privacy Policy explains what information SocialSpinVault, operated by OMD AS, collects when you visit the Site, how that information is used, and what rights you have over it. Written to comply with GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and equivalent legislation elsewhere.

1. What we collect

Information you provide. The Site does not require account registration. We do not ask for your name, email, phone, date of birth, payment details, or address to play the games. If you write to us at the postal address on the Terms page, we retain the contents of that letter or email.

Information collected automatically. Anonymous session identifiers (so your chip balance persists during a single visit); basic analytics (page views, session duration, device type, browser version, OS, screen size, IP-derived country); technical server logs (operation, abuse prevention, security incidents).

Deliberately not collected. No facial recognition, no fingerprinting, no persistent device tracking, no voice analysis, no behavioral targeting, no third-party broker enrichment. The vault is sealed against that kind of data collection by design.

2. How we use the data

Strictly for: operating the Site and serving the games; understanding which features are popular at aggregate level; detecting and preventing fraud or abuse; responding to your messages; complying with legal obligations. We do not target advertising and do not build behavioral profiles.

3. Information sharing

We do not sell, rent, lease, trade, or share your information for marketing. We may share aggregated, anonymized analytics with technical contractors who help operate the Site. We may disclose information when required by court order or applicable law.

5. Retention

Session data is dropped when you close the tab. Analytics logs are kept in aggregated form for up to 26 months. Security logs may be kept longer when needed for active investigations.

6. Your rights (EEA, UK, equivalent jurisdictions)

Right of access (know what we hold, get a copy); right to rectification (correct inaccurate data); right to erasure (“the right to be forgotten”); right to restrict processing; right to object to processing; right to data portability; right to withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis; right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. 7. Children

SocialSpinVault is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided data, write to us and we will delete it upon verification.

8. International transfers

OMD AS is in Norway. If you access from outside the EEA, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data-protection regimes. We take reasonable steps (including SCCs where applicable) to keep your data protected to an equivalent standard.

9. Updates

We may update this Policy as our practices or applicable law evolves. The Effective Date will always reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be flagged on the home page.
